Wooden Letters – for a child’s room

At the risk of revealing a Christmas gift for my Niece’s baby boy I thought I’d share another way to use wooden letters and scrapbook paper. The step by step instructions are here.

I found a collection of scrapbook papers at Lincraft called Jacie’s Watercolor Naturals (Paper Pizazz Sheets). I thought the various leafy patterns were a perfect background for the cute little 3D animal embellishments. Each letter was then finished of with some gold thread wrapped around a few times and glued down at the back.

Don’t worry R, I’m also throwing in some Command Picture Hanging Strips so you won’t damage your walls :)

This is a quick and easy gift to make (allowing time for the paint to dry) if you’re still looking for something to do. Leave a comment with link below…. I would love to see your ideas :)
