Day 257 – My Door is Open.
I was skeptical at first, but DH put these beads up above my office doorway (which was door-less) to try and keep the cats out and I think they look ok.

Love the kookaburra, and the buttons. I have to ask, did the beads keep the cats out?
The buttons are so cool. I’d love to run my hands through them, buttons are such a great tactile toy.
I used to have a giant jar of buttons but it is one of those things that just mysteriously vanished. I love the first photo just love it. It is also nice to admire a kookaburra, They are an introduced species down here in Tassie and I loathe them as they eat the native birds chicks and my lizards. I enjoy them when I am on the mainland though
