You have a very good eye Sam. And thanks to Rah for the Jacaranda info. all I noticed was the glorious purple. We don’t have Jacarandas here and I don’t think I have ever seen one.
Very nice photos. I like how the jetstream almost exactly parallels the wires. I wish my jades would bloom, they’re just babies yet though.
So much to like here! I was thinking, oh, I love the first one, but the storm one is pretty special and I love the blue in jet stream!
I am taking more photos with my phone these days, but I really need to find the time to do some processing. I haven’t had a play in forever, but you have inspired me

They are all great. I do most of my photos on my iphone as well and Camera + is my go-to app. I’ve got so used to it I’m not game to try many of the others
The storm cloud shot is stunning. I love the tree in the middle of the foreground. And the piano one is fantastic. My mum still has my grandmother’s piano and whenever I see it I wish I’d tried a bit harder to learn it …. but when I was 14 I had better things to do!
Great shots! Love that the jet stream and the cables are parallel. Well spotted. The effect on the piano shot is wonderful. Will have to download one of these apps one of these days too
I miss the glorious Jarandahs that used to live around my house in Queensland. Lots of fantastic photos. Death of a flower was a great way to fit with the death theme and not be too morbid.
