Project 365 – Day 344 – 350

I am just about caught up with posting my Project 365 photos. I am loving the Camera+ app on my iPhone and have used it to add effects and borders to all my photos.

Just one of the houses we passed on our annual drive around to check the neighborhood lights.

Day 345 - Christmas Cards by LearnCreateDoDay 345 – Christmas Cards.

A handful of the Christmas cards I made while at a crop with dear friends. Made with patterned paper, distress inks, twine, a bit of bling, Christmas stamp words inside, and some sticker phrases

Project 365 – Day 316 – 322

It has been a while since I’ve posted any of my Project 365 photos so over the next few days I’ll be playing catch up… rather than doing a months worth all at once. I am loving the Camera+ app on my iPhone and have used it to add effects and borders to all my photos.

Day 316 - Three Girls by LearnCreateDoDay 316 – Three Girls.

The arrival of some more Copics markers meant I had to have a play.

Day 317 - A Visit from Santa by LearnCreateDo Day 317 – A Visit from Santa.

We used to call these seeds Santa Claus. I think they could be from a thistle/weed over our back fence.

Day 318 - Don't Look at Me by LearnCreateDoDay 318 – Don’t Look at Me.

Grace hates it whenever I get my camera out for fear I’ll post it online. Next year my photography projects will not be so public so I can get some decent shots of her. Although this does show her obsession with technology.

Day 319 - White1 by LearnCreateDoDay 319 – White1.

Love the small white flowers on this vine.

Day 322 - Staring at the Wall by LearnCreateDoDay 322 – Staring at the Wall.

Emo was sat like this for ages, staring at the wall. Reminded me of a child in the naughty corner.

OLW One Little Word Nov11 Blog Hop

Xnomads' BlogWelcome back OLW blog hoppers! I can’t believe we are nearing the end of this years OLW journey.

For those of you not familiar with One Little Word (OLW), it’s is a class being run by Ali Edwards at Big Picture Classes. My One Little Word for 2011 is Create. (Other posts on my OLW can be found here.)

November was all about reflection and I think I’ve been doing a fair bit of that lately. I’ve neglected my blog, hardly ever been on twitter, and I’ve not spent a great deal of time in my craft room. (Pinterest is a whole different story but we won’t go into that addiction here) The only scrapbook pages I’ve done this month were all for Lain Ehmann’s “Your Story Matters” class. And I did these all digitally. Talk about reflecting though – some really deep stuff came out of that one!

Back to OLW. I really enjoyed this months prompt as I got to put into words how I felt about how my word played out over the course of the year, and how much it has meant to me.

I drafted up the I statements at the beginning of the month and read over them a few times throughout. No changes were actually made to the original draft as I was satisfied with what I had captured in the beginning. All the other work was done in the last week… except the girl. I had a play when a new batch of Copics arrived.

So here is my collage for November…. (I still hate my handwriting!)
photo-2 copy

My word has already chosen me for 2012 and I was very excited to see registration is now open for next years class. You can join up here. If you haven’t done this class before I highly recommend it. It’s better than any New Year resolution and it WILL change your life. And if you do decide to do the class don’t forget to join us all on the blog hop each month where you’ll meet a fantastic group of ladies who are full of a tonne of inspiration.

Sneak peek… my word for 2012 begins with the letter H.

Once again thanks for stopping by and for keeping me accountable. Next on the list is Lynn so hop on over and check out her One Little Word. There are more fabulous people participating in this blog hop which commences at 8am PST (Pacific Standard Time). They are listed below if you would like to start from the beginning… See you all again next time ! :D
