F is for Fitness. What did you think it was?
Welcome to my fitness diary. I’m making a few small changes as work is impacting my schedule. I will try to post a fitness update on Saturday’s now. This will leave the rest of the week for more interesting pieces…hopefully.
What are my goals?
Mon, Wed, Fri – Cardio …. I have started Week1 of C25K
Tue, Thur – Weights …. I didn’t get to the gym this week. Will be back next week
Sat – Rest day or make up day … today I did cardio
Sun – We’ll be starting to play tennis next week
Drink my water every day – get an A:

Be mindful of the food I eat, have small regular meals:
(Cyndi O’Meara is a nutritionist who just made perfect sense. I have completed her “21 Day Weight Loss GET HEALTHY program” with great results. I am now working through Cyndi’s Changing Habits program.) I had one day this week when I worked late and couldn’t be bothered making dinner so I ordered pizza. This was a BIG MISTAKE! I felt so sick that night and next day. I was bloated and lethargic. I can really see now how my change in diet has made me feel so much better with a lot more energy. No more pizza…. unless it’s homemade with organic ingredients.
First mini goal is to get under 80kg… after that I’ll set 5 kg mini goals
Start weight 81.1
Last week’s weight 77.2
Current Weight 77.0 -200g I would love to see the big losses come back again
Overall Weight Loss 4.1kg (just over 9 pounds)
1st mini goal < 80kg : 03-Aug-10
2nd mini goal 75kg
Why am I doing this?
I want to be fit and healthy so I can enjoy life
I want to set a positive example for my daughter
oh yeah… I have a beach wedding later in the year to go to (Argh!!) so I want to feel comfortable with myself at the resort. EDIT : Who cares what others think?
I want to get a new wardrobe but not in my current size. EDIT : A new wardrobe would still be nice.
I’m having a mid-life crisis
I would like my family to eat more natural foods for their health too – this is a hard one that they’re not buying into too easily. The way I’m working around it is by refusing to by any rubbish if I’m doing the grocery shopping. Unfortunately they will go and buy it themselves.
