After flogging the house clean, making cakes and having a party for Graviee I thought I deserved a little R&R…. or craft time. So this weekend I’ve done 3 scrapbook pages! Remember I’m currently doing “Finding your way” class with Big Picture Classes to help me find my own style. I’m also participating in a Crop Bootcamp being run by Blue Bazaar (an Australian online store where I get my kits and other supplies) where we have to do 30 pages from 01-Apr to 31-May. So every spare minute is currently spent in the craft room.
5 Today ~ I had my 5th birthday in Forbes in 1976. Since I was away from home, my Aunt and Uncle went to a huge effort to throw me a party. My Uncle loved photography and he took this shot. I had a lot of fun doing this page. I tried some texture techniques as demonstrated by Nic Howard during a True Scraps presentation. There’s a journaling tag hidden behind the photo which you can see pulled out in the next picture…

My First Day ~ Again in Forbes this is me showing off my uniform on my first day at school in 1976. I love these foam numbers which I picked up for a couple of dollars in one of those $2 shops.
For this layout I used the Page Maps Layout 2 provided in the Bootcamp handout.

You Make Me Smile ~ My Husband and I at my parents house c1995 before we were married. There’s no journaling on this page, mainly because I can’t remember if this was when Hub first met my parents or after we announced our engagement (which was only 6 months after we started dating).
This is a variation on the Page Maps Layout 1 provided in the Bootcamp handout
