The F Word – wk14

F is for Fitness. What did you think it was?

This week has been a total write off. I’m even late in posting this entry. I did not get as much exercise in as I planned to, only going to the gym once. I missed a few days of doing my C25K so I might have to start again from the beginning. My leg was playing up when I tried to do some running the other day.

Certain changes in my life this week have left me feeling torn. On one hand I’m worried about what the future is going to bring. On the other hand I don’t really care and just want to do my own thing. This has lead to some rather dangerous comfort eating, a habit I thought I had broken. I need to snap out of this quick smart.

What are my goals?
Mon, Wed, Fri – Cardio …. walked Mon, Thur & Fri. C25K on Tue
Tue, Thur – Weights …. Only did weights on Tue
Sat – Rest day or make up day
Sun – didn’t play tennis as planned

Drink my water every day – get an A:
Overall – B

Be mindful of the food I eat, have small regular meals:
(Cyndi O’Meara is a nutritionist who just made perfect sense. I have completed her “21 Day Weight Loss GET HEALTHY program” with great results. I am now working through Cyndi’s Changing Habits program.) Long days at work are impacting my menus as I couldn’t be bothered cooking by the time I get home. I need to go back to concentrating on changing habits.

First mini goal is to get under 80kg… after that I’ll set 5 kg mini goals
Start weight 81.1
Last week’s weight 76.7
Current Weight 76.7   no loss
Overall Weight Loss 4.4kg

1st mini goal < 80kg : 03-Aug-10
2nd mini goal 75kg

Why am I doing this?

I want to be fit and healthy so I can enjoy life

I want to set a positive example for my daughter

I would like my family to eat more natural foods for their health too – this is a hard one that they’re not buying into too easily. The way I’m working around it is by refusing to by any rubbish if I’m doing the grocery shopping. Unfortunately they will go and buy it themselves.
